DAY 1 : ARRIVE CHRISTCHURCH

On arrival in Christchurch, ‘The Garden City’, seat in coach passengers will be met by our local representative and privately transferred to your hotel.

DAY 2 : CHRISTCHURCH - PUNAKAIKI - GREYMOUTH

Depart Christchurch on the renowned Tranz Alpine Train (seat in coach passengers only), over the Southern Alps to Greymouth. On arrival in Greymouth, continue by coach to Punakaiki to view the Pancake Rocks, magnificent limestone formations carved over millions of years. (B)

DAY 3 : GREYMOUTH - GLACIER REGION

Depart Greymouth and travel south along the Scenic West Coast, with views of both the Southern Alps and the Tasman Sea. Stop at Hokitika enroute where you can view greenstone carvers & glass blowers at work. View Franz Josef Glacier and Fox Glaciers and nearby Lake Matheson, formed some 14,000 years ago from trapped ice. On calm days, the still waters provide brilliant reflections of Mts. Cook and Tasman. (B)

DAY 4 : GLACIER REGION - QUEENSTOWN

Depart the Glacier Region today through spectacular mountain ranges, native forests and lakes to Haast Pass, Gateway to World Heritage Westland National Park. Follow the shores of Lakes Hawea and Wanaka to Queenstown. (B)

DAY 5 : QUEENSTOWN

A free day to explore the endless optional attractions available. Queenstown offers bungy jumping, jetboating, white water rafting, gondola rides and much more. Optional activities not included in the tour price. (B)

DAY 6 : QUEENSTOWN - MT COOK - CHRISTCHURCH

Travel through the Central Otago region to Mt Cook, or as known in Maori ‘Aoraki’, the cloud piercer. Visit the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo before travelling across the Canterbury Plains to arrive in Christchurch.

DAY 7 : DEPARTURE DAY

Your arrangements conclude today with a departure transfer. (B)
