Only 40 minutes from Taupō or Ruapehu, you’ll start at the Turangi rafting base where the friendly crew will fit you with safety gear, a wet suit, and extra layers to keep you warm before heading to the banks of the beautiful Tongariro River for an on-shore briefing with your awesome Rafting Guide. You’re in good hands and super-passionate, experienced guides will coach your team to paddle like a well-oiled machine before you know it. In two hours you navigate over 60 roller coaster rapids with an expert guide at the helm. Complimentary transfers are available on afternoon trips from Taupō and National Park.
