Over a relaxed 4-hour walking tour, your guide introduces you to new and favorite flavors around Wellington. Because the tour content varies seasonally, each visit offers something a little different. Along the way, you might stop at a boutique coffee roaster, a stylish café, renowned specialty food stores, or a unique contemporary chocolatier. Walking time totals just 50 to 60 minutes, all at a casual, easygoing pace.

A Memorable Finale at Logan Brown

Your Gourmet Tour concludes with a delicious three-course tasting lunch, paired with matched New Zealand wines. This finale takes place at Logan Brown, winner of the 2009 Cuisine Magazine NZ Restaurant of the Year. Logan Brown serves lunch Tuesday through Saturday. So, if you book on a Monday, we’ll take you to another one of our favorite restaurants instead.

Coffee and Local Flavor

Coffee roasting visits run on weekdays. For Saturday bookings, you’ll still enjoy Wellington’s famous coffee culture at one of our favorite local cafés.

Tour Details

Our Gourmet Tour of Wellington runs Monday through Saturday, departing from the i-SITE Visitor Centre in Civic Square, at the corner of Victoria and Wakefield Streets. Tours run from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.
