1 Day Tongariro Crossing Guided Walk: This 19km trek is one of New Zealand’s best one-day walks. Departing from National Park Village, you will be transported to the start of the track where your knowledgeable and professional guide will lead you from the alpine meadow to the saddle between Mt. Ngauruhoe and Mt. Tongariro with stunning volcanic features along the way.

The landscape on Tongariro is peppered with different coloured and shaped craters that have been active at different periods, scoured volcanic rocks, mountain springs, and brightly coloured emerald lakes. A reasonably good level of fitness is required. Duration: 7-8 hours
