After landing 3000m above sea level, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the surprisingly undulating ice terrain, situated in the shadow of the Southern Alps’ highest peaks, for the next two hours. Equipped with glacier boots and crampons, you’ll find yourself in a magical world amidst the mountains.
On your return flight, you’ll have a chance to fly close to the massive Hochstetter Icefall, located on the eastern face of Aoraki, Mt Cook. The entire experience lasts for three hours. Pick-up is available from Mount Cook Village.
