Dark Sky Summit Experience at Mt John Observatory

At 1,029m high, Mt John offers unrivalled 360-degree views across the largest International Dark Sky Reserve in the world. Departing from the Dark Sky Project base at Tekapo lakefront, travel 15 minutes by bus to the Mt John Summit where expert astronomy guides bring the night sky to life, sharing the science and stories of the Southern skies.
