Itinerary Booking Terms & Conditions
How to Book
You can book your itinerary by submitting a booking request through our website. Our team will respond within 24 hours to continue the booking process.
Payment Terms
Deposit
A deposit of NZ$200 per person is required within 14 days of confirming your tour arrangements. This deposit allows us to secure your reservations. Please note that Luxury Lodges and Apartments have stricter deposit, payment, and cancellation policies, which vary by property.
Final Payment
Final payment is due 60 days before your arrival in New Zealand. Bookings made within 60 days of arrival require full payment at the time of confirmation.
If full payment is not received by the due date, all services will be cancelled and the full deposit forfeited. Some products may have different payment requirements; these will be noted in your itinerary or advised at the time of booking.
Taxes
Goods and Services Tax (GST) is included in all tour prices. No other taxes are included. We reserve the right to adjust prices if the GST rate changes or if new government taxes are introduced.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation terms are always included in your itinerary quotation and vary depending on our suppliers.
For independent coach tours and self‑drive tours, cancellation is free up to 10 days before your arrival in New Zealand.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes.
Amendments
After your booking is confirmed, one amendment may be made at no additional cost. A fee of NZ$50 per amendment applies to any further changes.
Amendments made after travel documents have been issued will incur a NZ$200 fee to cover courier, communication, and re‑documentation costs.
Luxury Accommodation
Luxury Lodges, Boutique Hotels, B&Bs, and Apartments have strict deposit, payment, and cancellation policies that vary by property. We will advise you of the required deposit and the specific cancellation terms at the time of confirmation.
Refunds
Refunds are not available for unused services unless exceptional circumstances apply. Final decisions are made at the discretion of the suppliers involved.
Weather‑related disruptions are beyond our control. We will make every effort to rearrange services, but we cannot be held financially responsible. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Children’s Rates
Seat‑in‑Coach Tours:
- Children under 12 sharing a room and existing bedding with two adults may travel at 50% of the adult rate.
- Children under 12 requiring an additional bed may travel at 67% of the adult rate. Exact pricing will be confirmed at the time of reservation.
Self‑Drive Tours: Child rates are available upon request.
Accommodation
All accommodations are based on twin‑share rooms with private facilities, unless stated otherwise. Single rooms are available at an additional cost.
Rooms are provided on a Run of House basis, meaning hotel management assigns rooms at their discretion. If a featured hotel is unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute a property of similar standard.
Hotel Confirmations
In unforeseen circumstances, alternative accommodations may be provided. We will always aim to offer a property of similar quality, though options in remote areas may be limited.
Sightseeing Tours
Any sightseeing tours or suggested routes listed in your itinerary are recommendations only. Attraction or entry fees specifically mentioned in your itinerary are included.
Meals
- B – Breakfast
- L – Lunch
- D – Dinner
Meals included in your tour will be clearly listed in your itinerary.
Rental Vehicle Hire
Self‑drive rentals are based on a 24‑hour hire period starting from the time you collect your vehicle. Late returns may incur an additional day’s charge.
Hire includes unlimited kilometers and basic daily insurance, subject to the rental company’s terms and conditions.
Flights
Unless specifically stated, international and domestic flights are not included in tour prices.
Luggage
Motorcoach tours allow two pieces of luggage per person, up to 20 kg (44 lbs) total, in line with international airline standards.
Not Included in Tour Cost
The following are not included unless otherwise noted:
- Gratuities
- Travel insurance
- Optional sightseeing
- Excess baggage fees
- Laundry
- Drinks
- Airport taxes
- Meals not listed in the itinerary
- Personal expenses
Travel Documents
Travelers are responsible for ensuring they hold a valid passport (with at least six months’ validity beyond their stay) and any required visas.
All travel documents issued by us—including vouchers and itineraries—will be provided upon your arrival in New Zealand.
Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance.
