Auckland War Memorial Museum tells the story of New Zealand, its place in the Pacific and its people. Located seven minutes’ drive from the Auckland CBD, the Museum is housed in an historical building surrounded by a tranquil park with beautiful views of the harbour. With internationally significant Māori and Pacific collections to explore, it is a place to discover and learn about New Zealand’s history and stories. During your visit, you will experience a vibrant glimpse of Maori culture in an engaging performance culminating in a spine-tingling version of the world-famous haka. After the 30 minute show, enjoy the opportunity to meet, talk and take photos with members of the group.
