Our Dropzone is conveniently located at the Rotorua Airport. Here you can select your photo and video options. At our viewing area, you can see other skydivers both in the sky and coming into land. Kiwi Encounter offers unique behind-the-scenes tours of a working kiwi nursery and hatchery. Eggs are brought to us from the wild and when they have hatched, and the kiwis are large enough to protect themselves from predators, they are released back into the wild.
During the tour you will see each of the stages a kiwi chick goes through before being released in to the wild - incubation, hatching and raising.

Whakaari / White Island is one of New Zealand’s most active volcanos, situated 48km off the coast of Whakatane in the North Island. In December of 2019 a volcanic eruption occurred at Whakaari / White Island. To ensure the safety of locals and visitors there are currently no boat tours to, or helicopter flights that land on the island. While visitors cannot set foot on the Whakaari / White Island, scenic flights are still available.....

The experience of rolling down a hill inside a giant inflatable ball has been an iconic adventure experience since Andrew and David Akers developed their first operation in Rotorua back in 1997.
Visitors are rewarded with spectacular views over Lake Rotorua and Mokoia Island as they Superman-dive into the ZORB ball. With a 350 metre long track; this is the world’s longest zig-zag ride. Up to three people can ride in a ZORB ball together, sliding in 40 litres of water (cool in summer, warm in winter) getting speed up on the straights before riding up the sides of the 6 massive corners.
