Hawke’s Bay is an easy drive from the North. Travel the Thermal Explorer Highway through Waitomo, Rotorua, Taupo and the Ruapehu district to reach the seaside town of Napier, or travel the Pacific Coast Highway through the Coromandel, Bay of Plenty and East Cape, entering Hawke’s Bay at its most northern point along the Mahia Peninsula and through the town of Wairoa. The Classic New Zealand Wine
