Samoan Quota
New Zealand is an awfully friendly country. It extends its
friendship to the Samoan people. New Zealand has a special
quota for those from Samoa. They are encouraged to apply to
New Zealand for residency. Today looking at the progress
this nation is making, it isn’t a surprise that people from
all around the Pacific Ocean and the world want to make home
here in New Zealand. New Zealand in the last decade or two
has proved to be a nation heading for success. This country
aspires to become greater with time. New Zealand is keen on
being an achiever and welcomes those individuals that seem
promising and the kind to help their growing economy.
People from Samoa apply to New Zealand in the hope of
finding challenging jobs and better education. New Zealand
welcomes them with arms wide open. Under the Samoan Quota,
tons of Samoans are welcomed into New Zealand along with
their spouse and kids. The Samoan quota is controlled by a
ballot. If you happen to get lucky and your name is pulled
out of the ballot, you can apply for residency. In order to
be eligible to apply for residency under the Samoan quota,
one needs to be registered during the registration period.
For those whose names are drawn from the ballot, there are
certain criteria that need to be met. The individual needs
to be a Samoan citizen either by birth or having been born
to a citizen of Samoa. During the registration period, the
individual needs to be between the ages of 18-45. And yes
your name needs to be drawn out of the ballot. If you do
meet all the criteria, you will be well on your way to New
Zealand. You will receive a letter from the immigration
office welcoming you to apply for residency in New Zealand
and you can apply under the Samoan Quota.
