Do you have family in New Zealand? Do you want to join
them? Can’t stand being so far away from family? Well the
good news is, if you have family in New Zealand, you can go
ahead and join them as soon as you do a bit of paper work.
If you have a loved one in New Zealand who is a resident or
citizen of the country and if they were to sponsor you, it
would be fairly easy to move to New Zealand. But to get a
sponsorship, you need to fit the bill. In order to come live
in New Zealand, you need to be a partner, husband or wife of
a citizen or resident of New Zealand or the child of a
resident or citizen or a dependent of a parent who is a
citizen or resident of New Zealand or the mother, father or
parent of a child who is a citizen or resident of the
country. If any of the above cases are true of you, going to
New Zealand to live should not be a problem at all. All you
need is a sponsorship by the person who is the resident or
citizen of New Zealand.
For those of you who are scared of making a sudden change in
your residency, New Zealand welcomes you on a temporary
visit too. You can go and live on a temporary basis in New
Zealand and if you do like the place and find it fitting,
you can then become a resident. So basically you get a
Family permanent residence or family temporary entry. It is
up to you to decide which one you would like to apply for.
Under this category those seeking work or education in New
Zealand can also apply provided they have sponsorship. So
weigh your decision and then apply for the required visa as
you wish.
